- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆What a shame this could be a magic place to stay. Its horrendous, damp tiny beds totally adequate extremely dated bathroom facilities, 2 uncomfortable chairs in lounge, kitchen - a cupboard or what? Please be warned, its expensive as well - steer clear if you and your pet want to enjoy a break. Location is good although beach difficult to walk on large pebbles. Golden Acre is a small, private chalet park and is probably the most dog friendly you will ever find. The park is situated on the slope of a valley leading to Eype beach, a short stroll away. Dogs are allowed on our beach all year round. There are no bars, clubs or swimming pools - just peace and quiet, lovely countryside and stunning walks.
